Shanoa
The vessel of Dominus who retrieves stolen glyphs to defeat Dracula after losing her memories.
Shanoa is a member of the Order of Ecclesia, an organization created to defeat Dracula after the Belmont clan vanished. Throughout the game, Shanoa pursues Albus to retrieve the glyphs (Dominus Anger, Dominus Hatred, Dominus Agony), eventually learning that Albus's experiments on villagers were an attempt to create a vessel for Dominus that would not require the sacrifice of the vessel (Shanoa). Lore & Background
Shanoa is a member of the Order of Ecclesia, created after the Belmont clan vanished. She serves as the human vessel for the triad of magical glyphs named Dominus (Dominus Anger, Dominus Hatred, Dominus Agony). Her memories and emotions were lost when Albus forcibly removed the Dominus glyphs from her body. Albus experimented on villagers in an attempt to create a vessel for Dominus that would not require the sacrifice of the vessel (Shanoa), not because they were Belmont descendants. After Shanoa defeats Dracula using Dominus, Albus sacrifices his soul to save her life and restores her memories before she escapes.
In Their Own Story
Shanoa arrives in Wygol Village to find its inhabitants kidnapped by Albus. She rescues them while tracking Albus down. On two occasions, Albus willingly gives her two of the Dominus glyphs. When she finds him possessed by the third glyph, she is forced to fight and kills him. His mind and soul are absorbed by Shanoa along with the last glyph. Confronting Barlowe, she learns his true objective was to bring Dracula back using her as a sacrifice. After defeating Barlowe and confronting Dracula, Shanoa uses Dominus to defeat him, appearing to die in the process. Albus then appears, sacrifices himself instead of her, restores her memories, asks her to smile for him, and she escapes as the castle crumbles.
